하느님, 여왕(국왕) 폐하를 지켜 주소서는 영국을 비롯한 영국 연방의 여러 나라가 쓰고 있는 국가이다.

군주를 찬양하는 노래이기에, 일반적으로 영국의 군주는 국가를 부를 때 함께 부르지 않고, 침묵한다.

하느님, 여왕 폐하를 지켜 주소서는 총 3절로 구성되어 있는데 통상 1절 단독, 혹은 1절과 3절만을 통상 부른다. 2절은 가사에서 전쟁의 뉘앙스를 풍기기 때문에 거의 부르지 않는다. 이와 같은 맥락은 구동독 국가와 비슷하다
